Ben
Alexander PGA Teaching Professional has just been nominated for
the 2008 National PGA Teacher of the Year. In 2004 Ben was
awarded the PGA Teach of the Year for Northern California.
Ben just returned from Florida attending the PGA Golf Show. The
PGA show is entering its 55th year and is held in Orlando
Florida. Last year the attendance was 45 thousand people from 80
countries. Every possible product from the companies making
pencils for the score to the newest Callaway golf clubs were in
attendance.
Poppy Hills Golf Course where Ben is the teaching professional
is getting ready once again to host the PGA Tour AT&T Pebble
Beach National Pro-Am Golf Tournament. This tournament has PGA
Tour Pros playing with celebrities.
2008 Poppy Hills Golf Shop was just awarded the top 100 Golf
Shop in America. The award was presented in Orlando,
Florida at the PGA Show.
