Pebble Beach, CA. December 2005. Ben Alexander, PGA Class “A” Teaching Professional is the present Northern California PGA Teacher of the Year. The distinguished award is given to the best teaching professional in the PGA of America section.

Ben Alexander is based out of Poppy Hills Golf Course, the home of the Northern California Golf Association and a PGA Tour course for the AT&T; Pebble Beach Pro AM. His credentials have included instruction to all level of golfers, PGA of America educational speaker, a host for television & radio shows, a contributing writer for major golf publications and successful corporate outing celebrity.

Alexander began his teaching career in Southern California in 1985. He re-located to Pebble Beach in 1987 as assistant pro at Poppy Hills Golf Course and worked under such teaching legends John Geertsen both senior and junior and Laird Small at the Pebble Beach Golf Academy.
Alexander has produced a series of instructional audio CD.s “Back to Basics” and the DVD and VHS video .Walk Fast and Swing Slow.. His communication skills and instructional knowledge has made him one of the best instructors in the industry.
